Sherine earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine degree and graduated among the top of her class from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego, CA. She is certified and licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and designated a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Her prior education includes receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University, as well as a Master of Arts in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology.
Sherine’s clinical experience includes Rady Children's Hospital (oncology, hematology and chronic pain departments), San Diego Senior's (Geriatric) Clinic, Owen's HIV Clinic at UCSD Medical Center, Veteran's Stand-Down and the American Public Health Conference. Her focus includes internal medicine, pain/orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions, mental-emotional disorders and facial rejuvenation/cosmetic acupuncture.
She believes that by promoting wellness, people can be inspired to transform their lives. Her mission is to provide knowledgeable, gentle and effective care to help you on your path to achieving and sustaining optimal health.
Naturopathic Doctor :: Dr. Carolyn Humphreys, ND
Carolyn received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oakland University in Michigan and a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Bothell, Washington. While at Bastyr, she gained personal experience of how the physical, mental and emotional aspects of health are interconnected and dependent upon each other. These experiences increased her understanding of treating the whole person. It impressed upon her the importance of personal growth and development and the impact it has on healing. Carolyn’s aim is to assist patients and navigate both conventional and alternative health care.
Massage Therapist :: Heather Claffey, HHP, LMT
Heather has recently moved to San Diego from Scottsdale, Arizona where she worked as a massage therapist for the last seven years. She maintained a successful private practice working with several professional baseball players as well as coordinating post–operative therapies with a Board Certified plastic surgeon. She is a Holistic Health Practitioner who is Nationally Certified and maintains a professional membership with the American Massage Therapy Association. Some of the modalities Heather specializes in are Deep Tissue Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, NeuroMuscular Therapy, Prenatal Massage and Reiki. She also has several years of experience working in 4–Diamond resort spas and is thoroughly trained in the relaxing techniques of Swedish Massage and body treatments.
Holistic Nutrition Educator :: Peni Rae, NE
Peni is fascinated by the body's ability to heal itself and all of the wonderful ways to achieve optimal wellness. Personal and professional experience with naturopathic medicine inspired her to pursue a career in nutrition. She has over 19 years of success in the beauty industry and a passion for helping people look and feel their best. She wants to help everyone make the connection between being healthy on the inside and looking great on the outside.
Marriage and Family Therapist :: Kristina Gillan, MFC
Kristina is a CA licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couple and family therapy. She has over 6 years of experience as a clinician, with experience in residential drug/alcohol treatment, residential teen crisis, community based services and school based teen workshops. Kristina has always had a passion for understanding the human experience and her background in human geography provides her with a systemic view on life’s complexities. She utilizes psychodynamic, existential, attachment and humanistic therapies in her work with a broad spectrum of clients. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths and to identify and achieve life goals.

Liz is a Holistic Health Practitioner with over 12 years experience in Massage Therapy and Energy Medicine. Liz has been trained in a multitude of modalities and specializes in taking an intuitive approach with each client. Combining her skills into one customized session, depending on the needs of the client, she creates a unique experience for each treatment they receive. From extreme athletes to weekend warriors, to expectant mothers and everyone in between, she pours her heart into each session with love and compassion. Liz draws on her strengths and keen sense of intuition for each person she works with. She is very passionate about her work and hopes to spread her love of massage and energetic healing to everyone she meets.
